#Vigo, known as the “Gateway to the Atlantic” is the largest city in northeastern Spain. Here you will follow a special sightseeing tour through the city´s highlights enjoying the best sights of its famous statuary such as “The Horses” or “Monument to work” located in elegant avenues as well as the facilities of Europe´s biggest fishing port and a spectacular coastline where the mussel farms are the protagonists. A photo-stop will be made in O Castro Mount, a vantage point from where it´s posible to admire stunning views of Vigo Bay together with the Cíes Islands whose main beach, Rodas, is considered by many travel specialists as one of the best in the world. Our next stop will be in the Pazo Quiñones de León a seventeenth century traditional manor house with period furniture and impressive gardens, French and British in style .

This tour will continue in the old town, that combines cobbled streets with nice squares, where are situated the Oyster market , the ideal place to taste the fresh oysters from Vigo Bay, St. Mary´s Cathedral in neoclassical style with some beautiful mosaics, the Constitution Square where stand out the narrow-fronted houses and arcades or the Calle dos Cesteiros (the Street of the Basketmakers) that features — as its name suggests — many little shops selling local basketwork.
